It's really great; having a professional tool to open a coconut is so convenient. The freshly opened coconut has an incredibly rich aroma of coconut milk. I want to mention how to solve the problem of the coconut shell getting stuck in the tool: don't hammer it too deep. Leave some part of the shell still attached, and it won't get stuck. However, that hammer does have a really strong smell; it's left in the yard, and I haven't dared to bring it inside.

These coconuts are still quite fresh and juicy.
so.... I am new to buying coconuts.... and seeing "white" is not the white UNDER the brown that they appear as in markets lol I actually tried eating the exterior for a minute and to convince myself it was just.... tough coconut I'm dumb sometimes you'll need a cleaver or some patience.... the white is the outside husk. But it does help preserve it longer. The one I experimented with dropped >12oz coconut water from inside though ..... consider what that costs in the store.....
