love this turkey
This turkey was the perfect size - not too big, not too small. So much easier to prepare than I thought. I used the simplest recipe (didn't marinate/brine it, didn't use an oven bag) and it came out absolutely delicious.
It's so big!
I like this turkey very much. It is trustworthy.
Received almost 9.5 lbs of turkey. Spatchcocked and buttered the turkey then roasted in the oven for on hour. Took it out when thermometer reached 160 degrees. Perfect size turkey for a small family of four. We even had leftovers.
Brining the 9.6 lb Turkey with 2 apples, 1.5 c rock salt, 2 onions quartered, 6 crushed garlic segments, 1 bottle of your favorite wine in my case it is Asti Spumante on hand, 2 gallons water, 2 lemons juiced with rind, 2 oranges juiced and rind , 2 tbsp coriander seeds, springs of thyme, springs of rosemary 2 tbsp peppercorns, 1 bunch of lemongrass it’s bulb pounded crushed and leaves tied into a knot to stuff the cavity, 4 bay leaves torn into a big brining ziplock bag, bunched up tied with elastic for brine to cover Turkey. Brining time 45 minutes per pound of Turkey.
I wanted to buy a smaller one, but it still cost more than ten pounds.
The turkey weighs over nine pounds, and is fresh, flavorful, and juicy, very good!

Slow-roast turkey legs in an oven at 390 degrees Celsius for 4 hours until the meat falls off the bone easily.
I bought a Christmas turkey, but I didn't want it to be too big, so I only bought a leg.
turned out great for thanksgiving! cooked at 350F for 3 hours/internal temp reaches at least 165F
These are huge, about 2lbs each. I was genuinely surprised that I didn't look at the size. And yeah I enjoyed it.
Great turkey leg, Happy Thanksgiving!
This was my first time making turkey legs, and I was surprised to find so many thin bones while deboning. I filled them with glutinous rice and chestnut filling, but I put in too much, so the roll didn't hold together, and it fell apart when I cut it. However, it tasted great, and the glutinous rice was especially popular.
Marinate for 24 hours, then bake until almost cooked through. Add vegetables, brush with sauce, and bake for another 30 minutes (flipping halfway through). The result is perfectly tender and juicy.
