Descripción

Spanish Lime, also known as Mamoncillo, Quenepa, or Genip, is a small, round tropical fruit with a firm green skin and juicy, tangy-sweet pulp. Native to the Caribbean and Central America, it grows in clusters similar to grapes. Inside, the bright orange or salmon-colored flesh surrounds a large seed and has a flavor profile combining lime, lychee, and guava notes. Often eaten fresh by cracking the skin and sucking the pulp, it’s a popular seasonal snack fruit with refreshing and tropical appeal.
